1960: The colonial government vetoed the nomination of Jomo Kenyatta by KANU as its preferred president, arguing that he was an instigator of the then proscribed dreaded Mau Mau militia. Three years later, he became the Prime Minister and later the president of independent Kenya.
1978: Following the death of Jomo Kenyatta, Kiambu Mafia, a coterie of Kiambu wealthy oligarchy who had benefited from Jomo's regime wanted to stop Daniel Moi from taking over the presidency. Infighting scattled their motive. Daniel Moi took over the presidency and stomped his authority. GEMA was banned and the mafia dismantled.
2010: A clique of the internatiomal community, civil society and opposition politicians wanted Uhuru and Ruto barred from ascending to power. The two were facing imminent jail in the Hague over Post Election Violence (PEV).
Three years later, they were elected, defeating the doyen of opposition, Raila Odinga. The cases died and Uhuru is now the darling of the G7 club in the global arena.
2018: There is gossiping and seemingly pathetic diabolic diarrhea about hatched plan by a cabal of Mt Kenya mafia. These beneficiaries of Jubilee's regime are testing the waters through their barking dog, Ngunjiri Wambugu, on the possibility of betraying William Samoe Ruto from taking over the presidential baton in 2022.
William Ruto is becoming the victim of this dynastic scheme and Kenyans will rally behind him and abjure any likely plot by tribal mafia to install Moism.
