Raila Odinga has called for the imprisonment of IEBC Chief Executive Officer Ezra Chiloba without trial. The NASA presidential candidate believes that Chiloba is guilty even before investigations are done to determine his culpability.
In his tyrannical characteristics, Odinga is demanding the incarceration of the son of Mulembe, oblivious of the support he has been receiving from the Luhya community. Why would Raila pick a Luhya and demand his detention?
More shocking is the despicable grotesque behavior exhibited by NASA co-principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula, who are supporting the crucification of one of their own ostensibly to meet the political orgasm of Raila Amollo Odinga. It is a manifest ethnic abuse for Odinga to take the Luhya community for granted.
Kenya is a country governed by the rule of law. It is only autocratic and real dictators who would call for individuals to be jailed without trial. Raila does not believe in the the most sacred principle in our criminal justice system, that a defendant is innocent until proven guilty.
In other words, the plaintiff must prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, each essential element of the crime charged. Instead, Odinga is taking the role of being the investigator, the prosecutor and the judge sentencing Ezra Chiloba to hang in the gallows.
Kenyans must read these foreboding tell tale signs of a despotic politician and a dracula threatening our progressive humanity. Here we have a vampire masquerading as a messiah; a wolf in sheep's skin and a true political pestilence that should be rejected at the ballot like a bubonic plague.
