I HAVE listened to two Coast governors in their speeches, but am perplexed that none is really talking about pertinent issues affecting the Coast electorates and possible solutions for the same except ODM/Raila vs Jubilee/Uhuru political abracadabra.
1. Kingi should tell us how he intends to revive the dead cashew nut sector that was once the economic life line of Kilifi. Don't tell us about Uhuru Bw. Kingi, you're not vying for the presidency.
2. Kingi should tell us how he will end hunger and famine in Ganze and his own Magarini where his own people cannot afford 2 meals per day. Agriculture is devolved and I expected priority to be given on food production.
3. Kingi should tell us by how many kilometers will he reduce the distance women travel to fetch water in Kilifi. A problem that has not ended 4 yrs after devolution.
4. Joho should tell us which air freshener he will use against the smelling dirty in Mombasa town.
5. Joho should tell us which plans he has to end the frequent flooding of Mombasa roads after a little downpour.
6. The two gentlemen must tell the people of Mombasa and Kilifi how they intend to exploit the fishing industry to provide jobs and income for the people .
Otherwise, what I hear them spewing is just political fart that adds no value to the people. Only the blind in Coast swallow the poop.
