MOSSAD is a group of men, all of them jobless. They
are based in Busia County, particularly Samia and Bunyala regions. They offer
“security and protection” to whoever hires them. Currently, they are identified
with Hon. Ababu Namwamba. It’s alleged that Fred Gumo used to be the patron.
They are known to travel to as far as Nairobi and the Coast, to offer covert
protection

This militia like group might have been started way
before Ababu became the Budalangi Member of Parliament, could be around 2004. There was a by-election during that time in
Budalangi and this Mossad youth gang was used to intimidate the then area MP
and other political opponents.
Members are suspected to have been involved in
beating up people during the by-election campaigns that time.
It went underground for a while but was recently
revived by the Budalangi MP Hon Ababu Namwamba. So many youths want to join them, but
recruitment is so secretive. Politicians offer them money in order for them to
offer services during political rallies.
The awkward reality in Busia is that no rally takes
place if they are not facilitated. They will simply cause mayhem and disruption
of any gathering.

The current Ababu Mossad gang is made up mainly of Luo
speaking (Busia Luhyas are Luos and vice versa)! They are from the area known
as Nyadorera. Their commander is called Ndagwa, a very mysterious man. So
mysterious is the man that some members of the MOSSAD do not know him.

Politicians who give them money to facilitate
rallies include Raila Odinga, Moses Wetangula, Ojaamong, Ababu Namwamba and
others. At the moment, Ababu Namwamba
has taken them for himself. They are always seen walking with him as unofficial bodyguards
and guarding his helicopters and vehicles.
The group is lethal, brutal, and murderous and has a
network on intelligence gathering. All politicians in Busia County, from
Governor to MPs to MCAs have some connection to this group.

They are
feared by security agents. The MOSSAD never fear getting arrested, because they
never actually end up in any police cell. They are known to drink with the very
police officers who publicly arrest them at daytime.
During day time they carry crude weapons (knives,
hammers, machetes, bakoras), but how sure are we that they do not have
firearms? Kenya-Uganda border through Sigulu Island is very porous and could be
used in smuggling small weapons from conflict zones such as South Sudan, Uganda,
DRC, CAR and Burundi.
In Busia politics it is alleged that no one survives
without a militia. Mossad should be dismantled. We could be sitting on a
ticking time bomb!!
