THERE'S POWER IN THE BALLOT BOX

Leaders seem to be insensitive, politicking as usual and throwing mud at each other instead of addressing the most important issues affecting the people.
Kenyans should now realize that every subsequent government doesn’t have the needs of the people at heart. Leaders go into political positions to enrich themselvesand their families.
Politics doesn’t help us anymore. As a people, we need to think beyond our dependence on who is in power. Kenyans need to work hard by themselves and be conscientious alert.

We need to be vigilant at all levels and subject those seeking leadership positions to scrutiny rather than just considering their ethnicity and partisan politics. If you put the prevailing situation on a magnifying lens, you will realize that our politicking is our undoing.  And we the people are to blame.
We politicize everything, even in the most sensitive matters like security. We do not often,  consider competence, integrity and professionalism in our choices of leaders
When shall we continue to eat all this political garbage that stinks all over?  When shall we be able to get leaders who wil be serious in ending corruption, insecurity, impunity, ethnicity, tribalism, nepotism and all evilism bedeviling this nation?

As we go into the election, let Kenyans realise that there's power, rIght there at the balot box. We can either choose to maintain the status quo or try new leaders with fresh ideas.
Kenyans should awaken their inner conscience, move out and clean the political streets themselves. The moment to do this cleaning is at the ballot box.

If there’s a time Kenyans are supposed to unite for their own good is during an election, as it provides an opportunity to correct any wrongs done by the political leadership.
There’s a direct correlation between the government in power to the social and economic wellbeing of the people. The political class benefit when we are divided.
A slave master is happy when slaves fight amongst themselves, but when slaves unite and get together; the slave master is in trouble as that’s the beginning of getting out of slavery. We need to free ourselves from this political doom, for we are already doomed if we do not exercise our right to vote in the right manner by chosing the right leaders.
Vote wisely, vote peacefully.
